    There once was a fine pipemaker named Lorenzo,
    He lacked enough pipe-buying friends though;
    After he made my lil' Tugboat,
    Soon 'twas all that she wrote,
    And Lorenzo met its untimely ends, oh!

    Picked her up on eBay not too long ago. I don't have a new pic post-resto, but this is how she looked when I got her. It's not stamped 'Lorenzo' but my best research points that way.

    Hi All,

    After my foolish decision a few years ago to try giving up smoking compounded by the even worse decision to junk all my Falcons - when I gave in a returned to the fold I'd needed a pipe. Picked up one that shape and smoked it solid for 18 months or so taking it half way round the world with me - it ended up Christened the "Battered Old Warrior" and is now serving with a friend in Abu Dhabi.

    Hope you get as much enjoyment out of that one as I got with mine!

    Best to all

    Gerry

    Yeah, I'm extremely happy with it so far. I didn't do much to restore it other than clean it, de-ox the stem and polish everything. Looks good and smokes great. I really enjoy the shape, very comfy and feels good.
    My belief that it's a Lorenzo is based on the fact that Lorenzo definitely did make some tugboats and the "TUGBOAT" stamping on the Lorenzos looks identical to the one on this little beater. Doesn't matter to me either way as I'm not a collector, I was just curious.
