I was in the local B&M, getiing some pipe lighters for nieces wedding, and grandma thought a nice cigar box would be nice for hero (nephew in law to be), to put his nice new pipe and accessories in on his honey moon, so we started looking for boxes...and I found a cigar box labeled "Acid" cigars...what made this one interesting is that the cigars in the box were nestled on four sides within an inch of raw cigar tobacco leaf used rather like packing material. This cigars apparently are from Nicaragua, and the leaf has a great rich smell. The leaf doesn't seem to be seconds, and it is fresh. Due to the fact that it is compressed and inch thick on four sides of this box, there is a bunch of leaf...I have some picts, but I can't get it uploaded right now. Any reason I should avoid smoking this leaf? I realize it is kind of weird, but I have always wanted to try a cigar leaf straight into a pipe. As a former cigar smoker I would love to see what the result would be; what do ya'll think?
