    Few Q's.

-Has anyone tried a certain type of oriental, straight? Can you describe?
-Which available oriental tobacco is most predominately "oriental?

    Thanks.

Robert McConnell's Oriental. It tastes like an English blend without the Latakia. It's one of my favs.

    Good question.

I personally have never smoked a single strand of oriental... I'm assuming you mean like a bowl of Izmir or a bowl of Xanthi. All the "straight" oriental tobacco I've ever smoked is a blend of various strains. I would love to try various straight orientals, though.

I have "Samsung!" It's fantastic. One of my favs, along with some burley's.

Samsung is a VA / Oriental blend. I'm not a big VA fan, so I'm thinking that something at least predominately Oriental might be "all that."

Samsun, Drama and Smyrna are my 3 faves. I found the two Yenidje blends pretty decent as well. Drama is the only one I smoked with much age on it and it definitely improves.

Is Drama the one with "essence of olive oil"?
