A small while ago, I had purchased this Canadian pipe off of our very own OldTed. Just before Christmas, it showed up at my door. I had been anticipating it and the pictures had looked fantastic.

    Then tragedy struck.

Pneumonia had struck like a man eating shark. Of all times to hit me; I had just purchased a large tobacco order...almost two pounds. So I played the waiting game for a month before I finally kicked it.
Finally, I lit the pipe up -today.

Before I go into the mechanics of this pipe. Let me tell you, this thing is gorgeous. Pictures do it no justice. It feels wonderful in the hand and mouth. For fifty five dollars, I think I basically stole this thing. I packed half a bowl of Penzance at put fire to the beast. As I expected, she smokes just as good as she looks. Moral of the story children, if you see an OT pipe on sale/for trade...Jump on that thing.

It is true the nomenclature on an OT pipe is a frowny face with rolly eyes?

The guy has been working with his hands for probably 70 years or so [lol] . It takes that damn long to be able to make somethin that damn pretty !!!!!!!!!!!!!! The shape is freakin perfect ! The texture is even and random and excellent ..... it's probably even better in person . The color is great ! Damn , OT .... super nice freakin job !

Having a little fun, are we Ted?

You know the difference between a pipe smoker and a pipe maker, right?

A pipe smoker could stop if he wanted to.

certainly am Sas!, but my pipe tinkering keeps coming to a halt - when one of my antique dealer friends wants some gear wheels cutting for an old clock.....then the real fun starts! :)
