Buggers, not to long ago i bought 9 estates, 8 stanwells and one orlik. And it seems i've done it again, but this time it was 14 stanwells. How do i make it stop? Gotta sell some of my "lesser name" pipes i guess, now i got 27 stanwells 26 of then danish made. So i'll probably keep those, my dunhill, and two from my dad, and maaaybe one or two more.

    This gotta stop XD

Yes, i know, one of them is from the "handcut" series, and one golden contrast, and a "trio" but they did'nt come supercheap, about 500 bucks , but one of them (left allmost on top) is never smoked, and every single one is in very good condition :)

I sure hope so, but, sometime in februari it seems that me and a fellow pipeclubmember are going to visit an old pipecollector who is selling of most of his pipes :/ i surehope they're all horrible *lol*

At least i got something to do since all except one needs a good reaming and buffing :) idle hands are the P.A.D's tools :)

Unluckly im in a pipeclub (a very small one but really nice) where pipes gladly change hands, one of the members restore and sell's via Briar Blues overseas :)

If you get one you should go for an estate, the new ones aint as good, nothing against italian pipes, but a danish pipe should be made in denmark and nowhere else. And i know several people who like me think that they have lost something in quality after they moved all production :( could be we are a bit unfair in our judgement since we're in denmark (im not native here, im from sweden).

That's a great investment if you ask me. Stanwell's are fantastic smokers. And according to an article I read recently some of the best mass produced and underrated smoking pipes on the market.

    Congrats!
