I just finished off a parfait (layered bowl) full of two blends. PS LBF + PS LNF with the LBF on the bottom half. WOW! The best smoke I've ever had with these two (compared to individually smoked). A nice big or tall bowl helps. In this case, it was a MM General. Nice long smoke. No "warm up time" needed to get the LBF "happening". What a tastee treat!

Anyone into this sort of playtime fun? :thumbsu:

5Bros/PA/CH in a MM General will kick your butt.....makes a great last bowl of the day.

'Bacco-stacks happen (usually) when I get to the end of a tin and toss the last of this atop the beginning of that. Some are nice but none have made me write down the combo for repeat performances.

    Hi All,

What a grand idea! I'd honestly never thought of trying this - will try 5 Bros on top of Peterson's Sunset breeze in my Freeehand for a last smoke tonight.

    Thanks for suggesting the idea!

    Best to all

Never done a tobacco parfait. I have made pousse-cafes, similar to those pictured, for parties.

It's been around for as long as a bloke had more than one toby or was meeting up with another piper and they had different tobak. A different way of enjoying our little pleasure. Enjoyable especially when you find a combo that compliment each other. I'll try the PS LBF under LNF (on top) again! It was Wonderful! Gotta do it again! Soon! :thumb:

Oh sure, you can call this dirty little secret by the pretty new name of "parfait", trying to dress it up and make it sound respectable. But this little practice which has been around and never discussed due to it's obscene nature is nothing more than... tobacco segregation! https://pipesmokersforum.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/default/roflmao.gif

That has inspired me to try a Neapolitan by layering chocolate, vanilla, and cherry aromatics. Oh this is going to rock!

Wow....thought I was the only crack-pot around! Try (bottom to top) PS LTF-Evening Stroll-Squadron Leader-HOTW-STM....you do need a LARGE pipe, but it's my favorite combo. Flavors seem to meld and flow from one to another...none quite the same for the addition of the others.

    .....Deeee-lish! :D
