Any body know anything about these pipes?
A Dunhill subsidiary/second...here's more:
Here's a Parker of London Bulldog
I added the white spot myself
Nice! Do you like it?
Looks like kind of a vintage/nostalgic nomenclature on it, that with the dark wood (which I prefer) really makes for a nice pipe. Thanks for posting!
This particular model is an EXCELLENT Flake pipe!!!!!!! Mind you: The finishing isn't the best to be honest!
It's not apparent on the picture but at the bottom the varnish has flaked off a bit due to the heat which is a real shame!
Nevertheless: I wouldn't want to part with it but if anyone considers buying one of those I recommend another grade/finish!
This one is known as Jockey Club but there are others which I can't remember right now.
Hope this helps!
I have a Parker Foursquare. Goldenbark finish, I believe. It's the equivillent of a Dunhill Tanshell.
It smokes great, and is one of my favourites. I'd put in on par, smoking wise, with my Dunhill.
I really like them - The rustic ones look great - 20 - 30 pounds new !!
I have a couple. Both are good pipes for the price. I had the same problem as shadow with a bit of flaking on one of them but it doesn't matter to me because the pipe smokes so well.
Looks great to me!
