Keeping the insurance settlement?
Isn't insurance a form of gambling?
Not the way I use it.
This makes me very happy. I can only imagine what you felt when you got it back.
Glad you got that back and kudos to the pawnshop for doing the right thing. I love those older Guilds.
Me enjoying a bowl in Stockholm last summer. A rainy day was best spent drinking beer and smoking a pipe on this patio.
I'm the one in the middle. Not smoking my pipe so much as guarding it from the wind while out boating on Lake St. Clair.
Not with pipe, but I am on the left enjoying a Monte Cristo after a cold pheasant hunt. Two of those jokers are my brothers and the other a good friend and our host.
Thanks to Coastie for his service on in the Great Pacific NW. I was looking at old entries and found the photos of the 47'.
Out of Garibaldi for tuna.
Good looking (pipe)!!! The bride is cute too............
Here's a pic of my and *my* bride....back in 1966! Note the Carey freehand in my mitt.....
I love that picture every time I see it. You da man, Ted.
Jammin with a few of my friends.
(Gotta keep up with those hippies like Spill!)
Pipe is my Ebony Pete Killarney, tobacco is MacB Plumcake.
I don't see any "friends".
The other basses silly.
Which ones are your brothers?
Good to see it's back home.
The second one from the left is not one of my brothers. If we were standing it is much easier to see the resemblance as my brothers and I range in height from 6'6" to 6'9".
So glad you got the axe back. My Father in law has the same wirebox and has played it and gigged it religiously for 30+ years, it looks like a heap now, but sounds AMAZING. Stoked you and Hank are re-united.
I love the Clear Bonzo Ludwigs, the drummer of my last band played that exact set! Gorgeous Ric too.
That 4001 has aged well! I know
it's more cream coloured now than
the pic shows. Those are Vista Lites,
