Only if the fish has a pipe in it's mouth.
My new Butz Choquin smoldering some Capstan blue, thanks to a fellow retro shoe connoisseur.
Hey, I have a BC just like that one, down to the bowl shape and gray stem with white accent. Good choice.
That just solidifies my decision. I'd be happy to have 1/10th of the taste and style that you do, Terry.
It's a Savinelli ChumMaster
Thanks for the kind words. If anyone can take the credit, or blame, for any sense of taste and style I may, or may not, have, it would be my father. Dad wasn't very well educated, and we never had much money, but he always had an innate sense of the right thing to do, or say. Maybe because he grew up without a "pot to piss in," so to speak, he also liked to dress well. He inculcated those qualities in his three children almost from birth. He always told me, "A man should always look like he knows what he's about, even if he hasn't a clue." He wasn't that grammatical, though. If I had ever shown my face in public looking the way some people do these days, he would have put me under the house. We lost Dad too soon, almost twenty-five years ago. I've spent most of my life since trying to emulate him. The jury's still out on how successful I've been.
This is Dad just after he came back from the War, around 1946. It's easy to see where I get my fondness for hats and good suits:
OK, enough reminiscing. I've hijacked the thread long enough.
Well of course I read it...I always read your posts krusty...mostly.
Oh and the pipe is cool too
From a St. Patrick's Day party.
A half yard glass! They used to serve those and one yard glasses at the old Tiber Creek Pub in Washington DC. Quite the challenge to drink out of when you've had a few.
gris-gris gumbo yaya
Me and my Stanwell: "Zebrano 118" under a beautiful cloudy winter Greek sky!
Last night smoking and drinking with the neighbor across the street who I have successfully recruited as a full time pipe smoker!
(Now to get him on the forum) lol
He is up to 4 pipes now, a dozen tobaccos, and starting to make his own stands, pouches, etc.
I was smoking Wessex Burley in my Grabow Omega and he was smoking his own blend of Vanilla (bulk) and Black Cavendish (bulk) in one of his no name basket pipes. All his pipes are no name baskets, but heck, he is digging it.
Chivas Regal on the side.
Chivas is my refreshment of choice
Nice job Mington! Now get him on the forum! lol
He's got the beard - I bet he could put on a good scowl, too!
Now THAT"s a beard!
Very manly indeed
