Can anyone reccomend a tobacco with rich pineapple flavor? The only one I know of is Dolphin by Edwards but it really doesn't do the trick for me. It has a little bitterness that I don't care for. Also it's sometimes hard to find even at an Edwards store.

Some folks say that Erinmore Flake does but I don't taste pineapple in it.

Sorry, I can't help with that. I have smoked Erinmore Flake, and no pineapple there to me. It's a good smoke though.

Oh no doubt EF is good smoke notwithstanding pineapple or not. May have to fold and stuff a couple flakes tonight.

I don't know what is in Erimore Flake, but I certainly don't taste anything similar to pineapple. I don't think I would like it if it were

I don't know what it is I have about pineapple. I like pineapple ok as a fruit. I like to eat it occasionally but the thought of it as a flavoring in tobacco sounds really good to me.

If you don't hate machine made cigars, White Owl makes a pineapple flavor. As these things go, they aren't god awful. But if I had any decent pipe tobacco I'd choose it first.

Some aromatics are described as having a flavor similar to a piƱa colada. That may be your best bet. If I recall correctly, I've heard Summerhill and one of the Sillems aromatics being described as such...but that's from off the top of my head, you ought to check TR for more information. I could be wrong on both counts - never had anything like that.

We're the opposite. I love pineapple. Especially in the summer, the real thing is spectacular. But, the idea of pineapple tobacco doesn't appeal to me.

I like the Erinmore flake, what ever is in it.

If you do a search for "pineapple" in the forum, you'll fnd that more often, the pineapple taste is associated with Erinmore Mixture, and not Erinmore Flake :cfsd:

Yep, Sillem's Green is awesome if you like Pina Colada's (and getting caught in the rain). ;)

I have some Erinmore Mixture and the flake but I really don't taste the pineapple in either of the two . There both really good in their own right. I've seen pineapple "a hint of" mentioned in the manufacturer's description of a few blends but not as the primary flavoring. As I mentioned earlier Dolphin has it. I definitely smell the strong scent of pineapple in the canister in the store but it doesn't come thru so well in the smoking of it.

Sillem's Green has a nice tropical pina colada flavor that might be similar to what you are looking for.

Funny, the name reminds me of the Charlton Heston movie from the early 70s called "Soylent Green" . A futuristic film where dead human bodies were processed into small green wafers for food.
