Hey all, the wife and I are taking a trip to Las Vegas. I'm just curious if anyone knows if you can smoke pipes in the casinos? Also I know vegassmokes is there but are there any other pipe places to check out? Thanks!

Yes, you can still smoke in the casinos. Outside of the actual casinos many of the hotels are no smoking.

Be warned, Vegassmokes is not a reputable online dealer, I do not know about their B & M store, but do not order from them online.

Smoking inside? In a public place? Now I remember why I like Vegas. :bing:

One more reason to go visit...

Though to be honest, having smoked outdoors all my life, the few times I've smoked indoors has always felt... weird.

Don't smoke anything too special, you'll be competing with hundreds of cigarette smokers and cigar smokers on the floor. Hell, it may be just as efficient and more cost effective to just take a deep breath when you want some Vitamin N

We were in Vegas for five days in early February. I smoked my pipe in the hotel's casio lounge with coffee in the morning otherwise it was cigars. A pot of pressed coffee and a cigar in the afternoon at Casa Fuente. I always go to Del Fresco for dinner and cigars (outdoor lounge) a couple of nights. I noticed even some casinos are starting to limit smoking.

Get away from the strip and you can smoke at the slots in some of the grocery stores and other places off the beaten path.
Dont recall smoking allowed at the slots at 7-11's

A lot of grocery stores have a slot machine section in a corner, and drugs stores and convenience stores, cant recall how many of them let you smoke, but more than you might think

My advice: rent a car, drive to Death Valley, and prepare to see the most amazing stuff you have ever seen in your life. It is like 100 different national parks in one. Just freakin incredible. Compared to that place, the rest of the trip is boring.

    Except Del Fresco's of course!

Most of the casinos let you smoke. Can't recall any that don't.

As far as shops, I don't remember seeing any of decent quality. Got there for the West Coast Pipe Show in November, though, and that's a different story!

I appreciate these replies. I don't think I'll have any trouble while down there. For some reason, up here in MN, most of the casinos allow cigarette smoking only. I think it's bizarre.
