So, my girl friend and I went to some local antique shops and we found some pipes! Idk if they were a decent price or not but we bought them any way.
First up is a Dr. Grabow Riviera, I think it was about $8
Second one is a Smoke Master series 50, also about $8.

and lastly I walked over to a cabinet in a new to me antique store and I noticed some pipes. I took them down and I found a Peterson. I was so happy because I have been wanting a Peterson lol. I'm sure its nothing fancy though. These are my first briar pipes and I'm pretty happy with them. Now my cob won't be so lonely. Oh, I almost forgot, I got the Peterson for $7.50. Thanks for looking!

Yow! Hell yeah, they're a decent price! You scored TWalden! Are they as clean inside as they look from the outside? Unbelievable! :th1:

The Peterson had a bit of cake built up but other than that they look fine. They smoke pretty well too. I did do a little bit of restoring on the Grabow and the Smoke master, not much though, just on the stems. As far as the bowls I just took a soft cloth and started polishing as best I could. They shined up nicely.I used toothpaste and a lot of elbow grease. My girlfriend helped out as well :).

Very nice score. The only thing I can find in second hand/antique stores are The Pipes and burned out cobs. Crap, crap, crap.

Nice score on that Peterson.:ohyh: You did well on all three. My target whenever I hit a flea market or antique store is x < $10. Anytime I can get in under that, I'm happy.

Good job on your "picking". You did well, especially on that Peterson. That's a good looking pipe and the price seemed spot on (i.e. GREAT) Congrats!

Thanks again everyone! There were also a couple kaywoodie bulldogs there (in okay condition about the same as the Peterson) but I did get them. Do you guys think that I should go back and get them?

Go back and get the Kaywoodies. If you don't want to keep them you can trade them off.
Kaywoodie bulldogs wont last long in the trading post forum.
