I got this lot of 5 pipes at the flea market for $15.
The bits on the cobs were badly chewed up and I debated with myself, for a while, about how to restore them.

I decided to just cut off the worst parts of the bits. Then I added some amber colored superglue to build up the cut ends of the stems, used needle files to reshape the bits, and sanded/polished. They're not perfect but turned out OK and usable.

Great job. If you hadn't told us what you'd done, I'd have never known from the photos. Bravo!

    Mr Wizard is OK.
Or how about Professor Bitawesome, King Stemstunning, or Duke Chatterpendous?

It comes in amber. I had some so I used it but clear would have worked here, too.
