Just picked up my 1st ever pouch of SWR for sh!ts & grins today for 4 bucks.
Not too bad. I like PA and CH better, but had worse. Smokeable.

The inside of the box came with a coupon (special offer?) for a SWR pipe.
    Never heard of them.
    Any good?
    Or just another basket pipe?

How much are they asking for them? If the price is right, only one way to find out :old:

I tried SWR for the same reason a few months ago and I had the same result - not bad but CH & Pa was better. As far as the pipe offer...for $4 I don't see how you could lose unless it is made in China and has been painted with lead.

I go back and forth on if I like SWR or CB better, depends on my mood I guess.

Was the pipe a Briar or a cob? Honestly if it was a pouch and depending where you got it, it may have been sitting there a while. I'd check to see when the promotion ran as well. I bought a pouch of SWR last week and didn't have a promotion with it. Of course it may be mine that is old.....

No...the pipe offer was not $4.00. The tobacco purchase was.
I have the coupon at home and I am at work. I will look later and post the price.
Was some where between $14 and 24.00 I believe. $17 or 21.00 rings a bell though.

16 bucks and no s/h? Not much to lose. My vote goes for getting the bulldog.

I went to the web site pipesr4u.com thats on that coupon you posted, did not see that pipe offered, just several links to smoke shops, but maybe I missed it.

Because whoever owned the url when that ad was printed didn't renew their ownership of it, now it's just a "place holder" site with a bunch of links.
