Not smoking today, just got back from the dentist... going w/ Toque Berwick Brown all day.
Toque Cheese & Bacon, it's not something I would buy again but I had to try it.
GWAYI TAXI RED
After four years in storage, I tried these. All were never opened prior to being stored:
Friebourg & Treyer Old Paris
Wilsons of Sharrow Tangerine
Wilsons of Sharrow Lemon Grove
Wilsons of Sharrow Honey Menthol
Wilsons of Sharrow Cherry Menthol
How are they, freshness wise?
I've got to concentrate when I sniff the white. I'm getting there
The WOS Lemon Grove is dry. It may have been made that way. It's sister, Tangerine, is moister.
The WOS Cherry Menthol seems frech, but dominated by menthol.
The F&T Old Paris has mellowed beautifully with age like a 50-year old vintage port. It is absolutely wonderful, mellow and more earthy than my new canister. I could hear a vaccuum hiss when I opened it. PM me if you'd like to trade for some.
Sound like they aged just fine, Lemon Grove is dryer from the start, I have all of these and what you described is the way they are.
