So I just bid on a nice Dunhill billiard that was ending soon and the price was low.

Keep scanning down the page and I see a Parker Foursquare that I like even more (for some reason I really want a foursquare), ends an hour later and is also a low price.

Hopefully someone outbids me in the next 10 minutes so I can bid on the Parker, otherwise I'm getting the Dunnie and won't be able to get the Parker, too.

another reason to use a snipe tool like bidrobot. Since the bid isn't actually made on Ebay until the last minute, you have lots of time to change your mind. It's saved me a few times.

Well, I got outbid at the last second. So I bid on the Parker and won!

I got outbid on Dunhill pipes so many times already this year, it's unreal!!!
But I was successful twice: Managed to bag two really nice Shell Briars:)!
They're just so much sought after that other makes get kind of drawn in the background.
However: You've got the Parker which is only a Dunhill in disguise, so: Well done and enjoy!

    Now I hate the USPS.

They said it was delivered on Oct. 6 around noon. I still don't have the pipe.

Why use a snipe tool? I am a good sniper myself!
Note: I know I have never sniped anyone here unless you bid on used Frank Zappa cd's) :p

That is a great looking pipe Jimbo, and it looks to be in pretty decent shape.

When you bid you can watch the minutes then seconds count down. Place your bid price. When you get down to 20 seconds go to the last page and count the seconds off in your head. When you count down to three seconds hit the button to place your bid. You have to practice counting seconds without using a watch. You wait until three seconds are left. If you'll do this you won't be giving your competition time to place a bid higher than yours. Works for me.

    Good luck.
    Ol Brokedik.
