Someone has been buying tins of King Charles Mixture and putting them in my night-table drawer. There's piles of them in there. Had to move a bunch to find a tin of Stockton just now.

    It's a mystery.

Yeah, and if any authority figure asks you about it you say, "Hey, I don't know how that got there."

Well with all of the shoemakers going out of business, maybe those elves are branching out? If so, please give them my address!

I would offer to dispose of that for ya, but I'm afraid it might be contagious and I wouldn't want the same thing happening here.

It's quarantined for now, trying to keep the epidemic in just one drawer.

:bing: WOW---darn SAS maybe there are tobacco fairys up there lurking about--maybe still it could be some yard knomes sneaking about at night stashing the stuff. You better keep a close watch on the stuff.-----I say smoke the living hell out of it so if the rascals come back to the stash you at least got first dibs.:byg:
Anyhow I have to admitt--tobaccos from J.L. Germain & Son are the bomb. I absolutely love their brown flake and the Esoterica offerings here in the U.S.A..
VERY high quality and tastey stuff--its no wonder sombody is stashing in the night stand.
SAS---enjoy the King Charles buddy--it is awesome stuff for sure.:toast::bing:

More like Tribbles, those furry little critters on Star Trek. They spontaneously reproduce. You put one tin of King Charles Mixture in a drawer one day, and next thing you know there are a gazillion tins of the stuff. I had the same problem with Erinmore Flake.

I've been trying to lure the Germain fairy to drop some Brown Flake in my night stand for a couple of years, but so far to no avail.

Maybe someone is trying to bribe you. Maybe you have a stalker that comes in and watches you sleep, and leaves you little presents before you wake up.

King Charles is under rated. I keep at least one tin in my rotation.

It's incredible. I can't tell you how many English tins I have open, 1/2 smoked. These would include all sorts of variants: F+T 34th Mix, Maltese Falcon, Abingdon, Odyssey, Westminster, British Woods, Larsen SS#20, probably 1/2 a dozen more. And they are all getting bypassed for King Charles. There's a flavor in there that nothing else has, and the balance is so perfect it puts other "blends" to shame. They are not "blends" at all but merely mixtures of tobacco when compared to the harmony of KCM.
