    This is the now famous sent/stolen/recovered/restored 1958 Dunhill.. I just got it today, the restoration has put this pipe "as new". It even has that fresh pipe smell, I'm speechless.

    Great job on the restore Spillproof, and yes the pipe will live in infamy---its beautiful. Wrightwood John that is a wonderful pipe my good man. I can see why one would have been hunting it down. STUNNING PIPE.:drly::drly:

    Well, I knew the Bealle buffs were good, but I didn't think they were THAT good. I mean.... Elmer Fudd's Pipe Repair actually managed a legitimate polish on that beauty.

    That's a great shape, nice blast, and beautiful color! Most of the vintage Dunhills I've found are either straight or have a bit of an odd shape. That one is just perfect. Smoke in good health John! :toast:

    I find if you grind those long enough, that spot'll come right off, no trouble.
