Lit up a Padron 6000 last night with a bit of Redbreast 12 year Irish Whiskey.

    It was a great combination.

Smoking a cigar I got from Nesta. It's an unbanded corona with a rather dark wrapper that shows plenty of oil. Really a nice smoke; not overpowering, but full of flavor and burns very well (dry boxed for a day). Has touches of cocoa, leather, a bit of spice, and a nice toasty finish.

I'm guessing this is one of those AJ Fernandez overruns he's been smoking, and if so, there's no doubt about it: this is a great smoke, especially for the price. Thanks for the cigar, Nesta. It's very enjoyable.

Hooray for Quintero! Under appreciated, I think. I can't remember which one is my favorite, but for a couple dollars each, they're great little cigars. Can't think of anything as good for the price, really.

They are great! It was my first one and it really hit the spot. I've been smoking a ton of Nicaraguan sticks and this is a great change of pace. I have a couple more cigars from around there and it's going to take some willpower to prevent from smoking them all so soon. I'm trying to pace myself but they call me from the cooler.

Its been a pretty soggy week here, early this morning the river was creeping up into the grass on the far side of the drive.

The fourth of July is far from my favorite holiday, but I like fireworks. I have a few for tonight if the weather holds out, but it's not important enough for me to bother with if it starts raining, which looks very likely. I suspect that at least some minor nod toward patriotism is in order, though, so I suppose that endorsing the domestic cigar manufacturers is as good a way as any to show my support for these United States.

Marsh Wheeling Deluxe, not a bad smoke at all!

Started the day with a Rocky Patel Decade 10 Anniversary
While mowing the lawn I had an AB Black Market (IMO that is where they should stay)
And for the 4th an AB American Blend. Nice cigar

Thanks WS, there are alot of them on the bay, some amber ones that can get a little pricey. But I think I paid about $23 on this one.
