A little AF Best Seller for lunch. Almost forgot what a treat this small cigar is.
VR Don Alejandro today followed by a Diesel d.x.
Man these VR Don are huge, but great.
Was going through the coolidor this morning and decided I needed to suffer through a couple of cigars I had been gifted. Mark Twain Churchill; Pretty terrible (did not finish). Nat Sherman something or other: Even Worse (barely started it).
But then I had a Padron 3000 so all is well.
A day for short cigars...a My Father La Duena petite belicoso...Garcia girl's got it goin' on
studying for a midterm in my course on the israel/palestine conflict....decided I needed a cigar while studying, so I lit up my first ever Arturo Fuente Flor Fina 858 in the candela wrapper...this is a beauty, and right off the bat it tastes great....a little grassy, shockingly sweet, but still with a solid, slightly earthy tobacco core. Less than half an inch into it so I still have a ways to go before the verdict is in, but so far it is enjoyable!
Must have been in the air today?
I dug around and came up with a Cohiba Red Dot - tunnelled really bad. Re-cut, relit - tossed - strike one.
Next.. Padilla 1832 - it smelled like vinegar, tasted as bad - strike two!!!
Going out after Jeopardy to smoke an old faithful - Rocky Patel Signature, that stick has never let me down (yet).
Man, I lucked out from the sound of it haha
The only cigar of the day...this one actually smelled minty right out of the cellophane. At first it was grassy and sweet, and the grassiness has subsided somewhat but it's still there in the background. It's a little over halfway done and it's much deeper and richer, less sweet. Despite the richer flavor, its strength is still on the mild side of medium. Superbly well balanced, this is a great smoke!
2008 Bolivar Belicosos Finos. This cigar is freaking me out.
Okay, I lied...I'm having two cigars tonight. One last smoke before bed, a Principe
Just got around to watching McConaughey as The Lincoln Lawyer with the wifey and fired up a Fuente maddie before I check out the backside of my eyelids. Ashed an abundance of the world's tobacco on this rainy day in the BlueGrass.
I like this one a lot more than the first one of these I tried. This thing is downright tasty. And surely there aren't many that are better for the money.
I need to get back in the game...you guys are making my mouth water.
Oh yeah. Definitely.
We know what we are.
Some of us are more of it that others, but we all are.
Don't let the price fool ya...these are excellent cigars. Cusano 18 Paired Maduro robusto for lunch with caffeine. A Davidoff cigar now after the originator Mike Chiusano left the company to create his own C&C Cigars...which is another excellent value and good cigars.
Cusano maduro is a good cigar for me. I enjoy them and for under $2 a good cigar.
well, it's international cigar smoking day so I guess I'll light something up
I retract my previous statement, it has clouded up and is raining. Planned on smoking a Borris too
Damn, you don't have a roof you can get under anywhere? That is always my first rule when looking for a place to rent: it must have a covered porch. And for precisely that reason: you can sit and smoke when it's raining. Love to watch it rain.
La Flor Diablo...err...Dominicana Double Claro 48....I'm calling it "the freak"
smoking the one on the right, with the bizarre, symmetrical discoloration
Still tastes perfectly good!
