Ventura Pura Sangre Churchhill. Received this along with a Estilo Cubano as a sample. Gave it a week in my humidor before torching. Wonderful taste, the draw was good, but horrible burn. Canoed the entire smoke, could not get an even burn. The canoeing followed the wrapper leaf around the cigar. Never had that happen before. Curious to see what happens with the Estilo.
I had a problem getting a straight burn outta the Pura Sangre too but I just racked it up to inexperience..
Nah...I call bad construction/storage prior to receiving it. I did enjoy the taste though.
Agreed flavor wise.. was one of the nicest tasting sticks I'd ever had..
This is all Marker's fault. I was off the sticks and then that guy had to go and send me six of the best cigars I've seen in years!!!
So... I smoked them. And replaced a few.
And I can't afford to smoke these...
Carlos Torano Exodus 1959 - 50th Ann. cigar
Marker is a bad, bad influence...in a good way.
That stick is a great cigar for that chocolate/espresso taste. I love smoking them.
It's lovely, and just may bet me into the "shop" to destroy some briar. Thanks again (you cretin).
Petit Robusto Maduro
After enjoying the My Father '22 Petit so much (Thanks for the tip Marker), I have to give this one a try too........life is rough sometimes....
Buy a box of the MF LB 1922. Www.cigarsprintsale.com has them on once in a while and a box of 23 goes for about $90. So worth it.
Smoking a Cohiba Toro Tubo from 2003. With a glass of Grand Marnier.
I'll absolutely buy at box at that price. Thanks!!
The last puff of the Jaime Garcia Reserva.....
had an LP No. 9 this evening
A 5 Vegas Classic corona, with a 750 ml of Corsendonk to keep it company.
82 degrees outside.....feels like it's cooling off a little....
So I was just minding my own business and...BOOM!!! It appears that I am pissing off the right people . Damn, can't enlarge first photo, the note reads "Patrick: Smoke some now or I will send more. You have been warned." I will post proof of the consumption. Thanks Marker!!!
You mean they still make cigars in Cuba??
Cuba imports their cigars, from me.
Glass, those LAdC's are pretty tasty. My local guy stopped carrying them, need to put an order in.
