Devil Site, man. I was on my game. CBid rules.
Had a Don Dieg0 Fuerte at the B&M (and on the way home).
I thought it was tasty (lots of wrapper) - and it was well constructed and burned great.
After I finished it I read about them online; apparently they are notoriously inconsistent.
Score one for me! I guess I better not smoke another one.
Just walk away quietly and no one gets hurt
Pretty sure I sent you one of those in that pipe trade haha. At least it was some sort of Don Diego.
Smoking a Gran Habano Vintage 2002 Churchill right now. I bought five of these months ago, probably in June or something. The first couple I had, after several weeks of rest, were really not very good. Just kinda crappy. The next one was alright, sometime around August. Now, here it is, just about November, and I'm smoking this one, and it's really a pretty tasty cigar. Woody, clean, unassuming, to borrow from Moo's terminology, but a good cigar that I am enjoying. They're a value cigar that you can get from CI or CBid for next to nothing (paid like $1.50/stick for these), and in my opinion, they're well worth their price, but only if you let them sit around for five or six months.
Weird what a huge effect a little bit of aging can have on a cigar. I just didn't realize that some of them needed to sit for that long before they morphed into decent smokes. I always thought about a month was sufficient most cigars. Shows you what I know.
Romeo y Julieta Cedros Deluxe No.2 in a bit.
I've had a box of these since the day I turned 18. Just now smoking even one.
Over a year of age, can't wait!
while reading this...
I lit this Punch up...
and when it was just the right size, stuck what was left into a falcon bowl and kept on puffin!
Had an Oliva V earlier while pretending to run errands.
I looked at my Drac
Oliva G Serie Maduro
Easy boy, easy...soon
Kristoff corojo limitada robusto.
Punch Barekuckle. Should change the name to bareass cause it tastes like ****.
Perdomo Exhibicion Connecticut.
pinar del rio 1878oscuro ... tasty smoke but def. a construction issue with it... like a gap in the filler.. one side of the stick barely smoking while the other was off to the races.
La Campina Lonsdale. A gift from a BOTL. Smoked in the spirit it was given. Mom always said if you can't say anything nice...
I like those.
Can't say I enjoyed this one. Look at that band...think they're trying to take after Padron?
The serial number...the colors...the double band...
Moved the rest of my big stuff today; now I have a bed, a dryer, and a fridge again!
Ohhhhh the luxury.
To celebrate, and to payback my helper, we broke into the coolidor.
We each had a CAO L'Ann Cameroon followed by a Fuente Short-story.
