Enjoying this period of 60°F days here in northern Colorado. Smoking my 5th Avenue (first time) filled with Walnut and drinking a Cider. Relaxing and a good time.

Enjoy your weather, pipe and cider. It's 35 degrees here in SE Ohio. Supposed to warm up here towards the end of the week.

    Moose,
FYI... My Dad still lives in Chicago. I found that whatever weather we have here (CO) you guys can expect it in a few days.

Previously I've smoked Uhles Blend 00, Blend 71 and the Christmas '11 blend in my cobs (cob newbie). Walnut is the first baccy I've smoked from my regular rotation in a cob. This is the first time I didn't quit because of the stem burning. In fact the "birch" flavor added another flavor dimension to the Walnut taste.

Oh also it does take 3 bowls before you burn enough of the stem to not notice it any more.
